We’re also an approved work‑placement company. We believe it’s important to stimulate a constant flow of new people into our sector. Many of our apprentices ultimately remain with the company after they’ve finished their training.

EN 1090‑2/2008/A1/2011
As of 01 July 2014, it became mandatory under EN 1090‑1 European harmonized product standards to issue an EU Declaration of Conformity (CE) for all structural, load‑bearing steel and aluminium components used in permanent structures and/or traded in the EU. EN 1090 standards are split into three parts and four implementation classes.

EN1090‑1/2 to EXC3
Moors has been EN1090‑1/2 certified by TÜV Netherlands up to EXC3. This guarantees that all regulations relating to performance evaluation and verification have been applied and production control processes meet all pre‑defined requirements, as specified in Appendix ZA of NEN‑EN 1090‑1:2009/A1:2011 (System 2+) standards. Moors has been issued Certificate of Conformity 1231‑CPR‑1090‑1‑2400‑A‑809 by TÜV Nederland QA BV.

EN ISO 3834‑2:2005
These are quality assurance standards for fusion welding of metallic materials. The standards consist of three parts. Moors has been certified by TÜV Netherlands for Part 2, thereby complying with the widest‑ranging quality standards. This means that Moors works with qualified welders according to approved procedures under the supervision of a quality control officer or welding supervisor. ISO 3834‑2 standards guarantee the quality of welding operations in general, including order acceptance, non‑destructive testing (NDT), welding procedure qualification (WPQ), welding equipment maintenance/inspection, welder training & certification, visual inspection according to EN ISO 5817 D/C/B (two VT2 certified persons), end‑to‑end material traceability, etc.

NEN EN ISO 9001:2008
Moors has been ISO 9001 certified by TÜV Netherlands. This certification addresses customer satisfaction and its corresponding quality management systems. Moors focuses on continually improving its operations and aims to satisfy all its customers’ needs and requirements. We’re already aware of the revised ISO 9001:2015 standards.

SCC* (2008/5.1)
Moors has been SCC* certified by TÜV Netherlands.SCC certification is intended for contractors performing hazardous operations in high‑risk environments such as building sites, factories, workplaces and installations. Moors is SCC* certified to a level that allows it to manage its own HSE policies directly. All our personnel are also either B‑SCC (Basic Safety) or SOS‑SCC (Safety for Supervisors) certified. This ensures that our personnel are fully aware of all relevant issues surrounding health, safety and the environment (HSE).

Koninklijke Metaalunie
Moors is a member of the Koninklijke Metaalunie, a Dutch employers’ organization for small‑ and medium‑sized enterprises active in the metal industry.
